Quick sketch for a (single) comic.

This isn't the only thing i've done lately, but i can't be bothered with scanning in the rest. so here's a little post, just so i've finally updated again :p

Design a standard: yes, still bitching about that: V3

Cleaned up a bit and added some red to the border (i want some red somwhere). Also tried adding a scroll. Forgot to tear it up a bit though, will be for later. Is the typed text fine or is it weird among the rest of the banner? Or should I use a different font? Or write it myself?

Darkened the grey heraldry a bit, put some more colour on the stained glass and put in some more contrast, and cleaned up some details:


I'm quite happy with it now. Maybe add some decoration to the pole? Or a purity seal or two?

I did a quick sketch for the cloth i might put in, but i'm not sure it would work; it messes up the lineair design i've had going so far, among other things. Maybe I should just add a good oldfashioned scroll to bear the Chapter's name?




(and no, i didn't miss v2.2, i skipped it since it was so much different from v2.1)

ok, made some changes: tried to make te roman 3 (III) stand out a bit more, changed the color of the heraldry below (since i'm gonna put in the banner, which will probably be red, the red coloured heraldry had to go) and worked on the stained glass a bit:
